OPWDD announced the approval of a vaccine bonus for all Direct Support Professionals through the Appendix K Waiver approval.
Self- Hired Direct Support Professionals have until January 14, 2022 to be fully vaccinated. To be considered fully vaccinated, you must receive both doses of a two-dose vaccine or one dose of the single dose vaccine.
If you are an active Direct Support Professional and meet the criteria set above for being fully vaccinated, please send a copy of your vaccination card to health@issny.org by 1/16/2022. We are suggesting that even if you think you sent in a copy of your vaccination status previously, please send it to us again.
We are unsure when this vaccination bonus will be paid however, we will keep you informed when we know more information.
